Tutor-led sessions

Food4families has set up over 20 community food growing gardens in the Reading area. Our horticultural tutors work with local people to maintain the gardens and teach them gardening skills, from planting and propagation to mulching and compost making. Families are especially welcome. The work and harvest is divided among the gardeners.

If you would like to grow your own fruit and veg but do not have a garden or would like to join a group to share skills and experience (and the occasional BBQ), then contact:
Dave Richards t: 0118 958 6692 e: dave@risc.org.uk to find out where your nearest site is. We can arrange a taster session if you just want to give it a go.
