Have a Grow Day

Come along and get involved at Lavender Place Community Gardens. As part of Social Farms & Gardens "Have a Grow" initiative, we are opening the gardens for range of activities on Saturday 18th June 2022 from 10am to 4pm.

We're going to have some gardening sessions and a herbal walk, plus introductions to yoga and qigong. We'll also have the Reading Food Growing Network's seed swap, so please bring along surplus seeds to swap.

You are welcome at any time during the day to visit the gardens, swap seeds, or relax with a picnic. There will be arts and crafts activities all afternoon, so you can join in with glass painting, knitting, stone sculpting and more.
