Have a Grow Day

Come along and get involved at Lavender Place Community Gardens. As part of Social Farms & Gardens "Have a Grow" initiative, we are opening the gardens for range of activities on Saturday 5th June from 10am to 3pm.

We're going to have some gardening sessions, plus introductions to yoga and qigong. We'll also have the Reading Food Growing Network's seed swap, so please bring along surplus seeds to swap.

You are welcome at any time during the day to visit the gardens, swap seeds, follow our self-guided tour or relax with a picnic. Laura and Guglielmo from "The Town That Could Be" are coming along with postcards so we can reflect on Reading 2045 "Where will we be growing our food? How will we ensure that everyone has access to delicious, nutritious food?"

All the sessions are free, but registration is required so we know how many people are coming.
