How much is it?

There will be both fully funded (free) tickets available for children aged 5-16 who are eligible under the Holiday Activity Fund (HAF) and full price tickets this year (£5 for each child, each session) if you are not eligible or want to bring a friend. if you are not sure if you qualify for a free ticket, see more info below.

If you are paying for a full price ticket, you can go straight to Book here.

I think I'm eligible for Holiday Activity Fund, How do I book?

1.) First you will need to complete the Brighter Futures HAF registration form on their website. Once completed, you should recieve an email with a code to use on our booking system.

Please note, you cannot reuse a code from another season, you will need to apply even if you were given a code previously. Codes are one time use for each season.

If you are not sure if you are eligible, your code doesn't arrive within 30 minutes or have any questions about HAF, please contact Ciaran Delaney at Brighter Futures For Children (who coordinate HAF across Reading) Ciaran.delaney@brighterfuturesforchildren.org.

2) Once you have your HAF code, go to our Booking page on TicketSource. You will be asked for your HAF code during the booking process.

What age children can I bring?

HAF funded places are only funded for children ages 5-16, however if you are coming with a younger sibling you are of course welcome to bring them too.

Children under 9 require a responsible adult to accompany them and parents/carers are encouraged to attend with their children anyway. We provide a safe environment for the fun to take place in, but ask that you come in strong shoes and clothes you don't mind getting mucky as all our fun is outdoor based.

I've never been to the garden before, what does it look like?

Each of our gardens have their own individual characteristics and community, to get a taster of what to expect, browse through the Gardens section of our website to see which is nearest and what the look like. Most of our gardens in the network are run quite independanlty day to day by their Garden Tutors

Booking is essential before hand for everyone.
