A series of six workshops on sustainable growing:

  • Sustainable growing methods online on 25th March. Sadly you've missed this workshop.
  • Plant care at Lavender Place Community Gardens on 27th May
    • This workshop covered: testing your soil, when to plant out, hardening off, how to plant out, plant spacing, protecting your plants and caring for your plants

  • Cuttings and plant division at Whitley GrowAllot on 24th June
    • This workshop covered: how to grow new plants from an existing plant, how to divide a plant into several smaller plants and other methods of creating new plants - runners, bulbs, roots

  • Seed saving at Lavender Place Community Gardens on 22nd July: register
    • This workshop will cover: types of seeds, growing for seed, collecting, drying and storing seeds

Spaces are limited, with priority for those involved in the Grow for Reading project
